When Whoopi Goldberg makes the fatal mistake of mentioning the Sex and the City movie during a taping of The View, Sherri and Elisabeth can't contain their schoolgirl giggling, excited hand holding, and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious gushing. It gets a bit unnerving, but thankfully, Whoopi knows how to calmly and maturely put the two tweens in their place — by making fun of them. W00t for Whoopi!

Well, we all know that The View's Sherri Shepherd can be a bit dense, but in this clip, she comes off as downright mean, when she brings up the fact that her co-host (and former Oscar host) Whoopi Goldberg wasn't featured in last night's montage of hosts. The gals then spend the next two minutes trying to make her feel better, while inevitably just making it worse.

Barbara has a phobia of getting locked inside public restroom stalls, so she she avoids them at all costs. But when she must journey into a bathroom, she keeps the door unlocked! Am I the only one frightened by this tidbit of TMI? If I worked on "The View," I'd have a newfound fear of walking in on Barb with her pants down. The woman needs to keep her phobias (and indecent exposure) to herself. Is that asking too much?

...Even a caveman can do it! Nick Kroll, of Geico commercial fame, recently appeared on "The View" and put Sherri Shepherd in her place on the whole evolution issue. Those cavemen sure know how to hold a grudge! But at least he didn't go "barbaric" and bang a club over her head, right? (Although I wouldn't have blamed him if he did.)

She does indeed know that the earth is round, but she admits to being a little dazed and confused when confronted with the question on the air. Hmm. Is this an excuse, or a means to make her look even more incompetent as a talk show host? Sometimes it's best not to backpedal. (Isn't that right, Lindsay Lohan?)

I've often thought that "The View" was an embarrassment to women, and this clip certainly doesn't change my mind. The new co-host Sherri Shephard told her other co-hosts that she doesn't know if the earth is round or flat. Either this comedian I've never heard of has her "straight face while telling a joke" down flat (pardon the pun), or she's dumb as bricks. My favorite part isn't in this clip. It's when Joy Behar chimes in and says: "You know, didn’t some person already work this question out? I mean, why are we doing this again?" :ROTFL:
