While
last night's episode of
Gossip Girl was filled with
Snowflake Ball fashions, I chose to feature a more attainable ensemble. Serena van der Woodsen opted to make her boy toy swoon with an Autumn-friendly ensemble. Staying warm and stylish, the Queen Bee wore J Brand skinny jeans, a Diane Von Furstenberg printed top, and Cesare Paciotti boots.
Gossip Style: Serena van der Woodsen When Serena's not donning a beautiful beaded ball gown, she's braving the New York cold in a cool leather jacket. Unfortunately this exact piece, from Valentino, isn't available online, but you can get a similar version from Twenty8Twelve. Pair it with Serena's Diane von Furtstenberg top and J Brand jeans to finish the look.

Last time we hung out with the kids from
Gossip Girl, it was Thanksgiving and
things seemed to be mellowing out. Jenny stopped with the divorcing of the parents and moved back in with Rufus, Serena and Aaron settled in to an exclusive relationship, Blair got to see her dad, and Chuck and Nate made nice.
But now that the mini-break is over, the drama's starting up again, and this week's episode is basically a slow build to the annual Snowflake Ball, where everyone eventually turns up one way or another.

The drama, the suspense, the ending – suffice it to say, I'm already looking forward to next week's show. However, this doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the latest from our fave Upper East Siders. I was biting my nails as unexpected love was in the air while being blinded by the sparkle (umm, Chuck's shimmery suit .

Bad news, deception, and sparkly dresses ruled last night's
Gossip Girl, not to mention the usual showing of gadgets to gossip on (and to get the fashion, check out

I want to go to the annual Snowflake Ball. But, per usual, I must live vicariously through the charmed lives of
Gossip Girl. Sigh.

This season, one of my favorite
Gossip Girl characters has been Dorota, Blair's long-suffering maid and confidant who brings a dose of reality to B.'s hoity-toity life. Apparently I'm not the only Dorota fan, because now,
Dorota will be starring in her own series of webisodes, available exclusively to those of you who use Verizon.
I think Dorota's a great choice for a web series — but is she the best?
Fab Gift Guide: Gossip Girl I bet you have a friend or family member who's obsessed with Gossip Girl. I figured. This wannabe Blair Waldorf wishes she had the characters' lives, but since that's unlikely, their stuff will have to do.

Serena van der Woodsen's Cell Phone Evolution Sure, Britney, Paris, Lindsay, and Hilary have all had
cell phone evolutions, but they're real people who are upgrading. The only fictional character I can think of who switches out her cell phone so fast is one Serena van der Woodsen of
Gossip Girl.
