So this is a headline of the day and a WTF?! all rolled up in one confusing post just for you. A study was conducted whose conclusion was that clean people are less judgmental than dirty/unwashed people. How did these researchers come up with their conclusion? They had two controlled groups — one clean, one dirty — and had them make judgments on a series of moral dilemmas. They found that the more unwashed the person, the harsher their judgment. What I'd like researched is how the researchers came up with these moral dilemmas. I think you know which one I'm taking issue with . . . (Click here if you're intrigued and want to know more.)

It's been a while since I've read French, but I think even with a translator this would make no sense. And anyway, I prefer the mystery of being able to go, "WTF?!" From what I can put together, this thing allows you to tan everywhere, including where the sun don't shine! It also frees up your hands (which would have been doing what exactly?). Color me confused.

Would You Ever Go to a Cuddle Party?

I find the concept of donning pajamas and cuddling with strangers far creepier than the idea of hooking up with one stranger. (Not that I would do that, oh heavens, no!) Would you ever get into PJs, follow elaborate "no inappropriate touching" rules, and cuddle with a bunch of strangers?

Yes. Because, as a single person, I have no other cuddling opportunities.

No. Pajamas, a face mask, and a scary movie are for "me time."

Maybe, if all the cuddlers look like Mark Ruffalo or Angelina Jolie. Not so much if they look like Donald Trump or Ann Coulter.

There's nothing better than something trying to be serious that is so dumb you have to laugh in its face. Take Law & Order: SVU. The folks at Videogum found a hilarious clip from a recent show about an exotic animal smuggling ring that smuggles gibbons into the country in order to make chopsticks out of them. (For all you doubters out there, they say, "For realz.") Besides the incredibly bad acting (or maybe good acting — it must've been hard to keep a straight face), the second-best moment comes when the dude figures out that the gibbon is inside the basketball, and is forced to say: "The monkey is in the basketball." To which his partner replies, "I'm on it." The best moment? When the gibbon emerges from the basketball and gives its rescuer a hug. Watch and be amazed. (I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Maybe I have a chance as a screenwriter after all.)
