The final four contestants in The X Factor performed
a secret gig in London last night for a select audience of competition winners. Diana Vickers, Eoghan Quigg, JLS and Alexandra Burke took to the stage for the exclusive audience, ahead of the first of the semi finals this weekend! Unfortunately Alexandra could only perform one song after
being hit by a throat infection, something that JLS member Aston Merrygold is also suffering from.

It's an exciting time for Lily Allen right now, and that was shown in the huge grin on her face as she stepped out in London yesterday. She announced her latest UK tour a couple of days ago, and
the tickets went on sale for all the dates this morning. The tour kicks off in Glasgow in March, and finishes back in London at the end of that month.

Kate Moss was a surprise celebrity guest in the audience at
The X Factor on Saturday night, there to watch Britney and the contestants do their thing! While hanging out backstage the supermodel
bumped into Eoghan Quigg and lent him her jacket as he was cold, but — bless him — he didn't even realise who she was. He twigged eventually, but who'd have thought that Kate Moss would be a fan of reality TV.

Ruth Lorenzo left The X Factor on Saturday, receiving the lowest number of votes from the public. The judges now have no say in who stays and who goes.
The big excitement of the evening was, of course, Britney Spears' performance of "Womanizer".
On last night's
The X Factor Britney Spears mimed her way through a performance of "Womanizer". Celebrity audience member James Corden spoke out about it on Xtra Factor last night, acknowledging the talents of the contestants in comparison to those of Britney. During his interview with Holly Willoughby, he said,
"Yeah, the song sounded great, but I've already got the CD, so I didn't need to see someone come out and mime it..."

It's time for
The X Factor!
Following the fun of
Take That week last week, this week it's Britney week (yay!) featuring Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus, and it's all about to kick off on ITV1.
I'll be popping in and out of the comments thread to chat during the first live show at 7.35pm until 9.15pm, then we'll all take the break between the shows, and then get right back on The X Factor discussion when the second show starts at 10.15pm until 10.45pm.

How radiant does Britney Spears look in these photos of her in Paris yesterday? I can confirm Britney has now arrived in London for
The X Factor, where she'll be doing her first performance in the UK for five years. This week the acts will all be singing two songs, one Britney hit and one general American hit, and it is all down to the public vote as for the first time in the series the judges will have no say in who leaves.
