I wonder if the physiology info in this 1963 Arrid ad still holds water. Basically, it says that women have two kinds of perspiration, one from physical exertion, and the other from, well, horniness. (The kind Arrid takes care of.) It seems to me they were just banking on the shame of women who didn't want anyone to see that their sexuality was showing. "You don't wanna be a sweaty ho, do you now?" the ad seems to ask. Something tells me that the hoo-ha flashers of today wouldn't give a damn.

I wonder if I can get this Zit Poppers Candy in time to hand out to the kiddies on Halloween. Basically, you pretend to pop them and the "bloody candy ooze" (their words, not mine) that comes out has a wonderful strawberry or watermelon flavor. Even better than the disgusting look of the candies is the write-up for this product: "Each insane box of Zit Poppers Candy contains 3.25 ounces of candy zits. That's approximately 16 zits. Yulgilbar took a peek outside mama's pouch where she lived for a month and decided there was something worth leaving that comfy space for: FOOD! I can't tell you how happy I was, in the middle of the madness that is Mercury Retrograde, to be greeted with the following words: "You are bidding on a small piece of Crunch 'n' Munch popcorn and peanut flavored snack. The peculiar aspect of this particular popcorn product is that it is shaped in great detail like a small man with a peanut helmet cruisin' along on his motorcycle!" Do I really need to say more? He is indeed the cutest little helmet-wearing popcorn I ever did see.
