Recalled Children's Books

Someone with a wicked sense of humor "retouched" the covers of some classic kiddie books. The artwork remains the same for the most part, but the titles have been edited — for better or for worse? — I'll let you decide. I must admit that the title My First Rave: Fun With "X," accompanied by a photo of half-dressed toddlers running in circles with their hands in the air like they just don't care, is a little magical. But maybe that's just me.

I actually CREATED an account on this awful website to say this:

Yeah, seconding that last guy, it should be:

"Thanks, Something Awful" as you can clearly see the SA watermarks in the images. eBaumsworld doesn't create any content, they just plagiarize it from other, better sources.

My First Rave is definitely my favorite. I wish I knew what that book was before the doctoring. Kids running around in their skivvies, dancing in formation? They were just asking for a salacious parody.

Hey look, it's some CLASSIC Photoshop Phridays as created by the talented community at Something Awful back in 2004. It's a good thing they watermarked those images, that way people can see where they actually originated from!

Oh, now that you know where these came from, you can go and copy the rest of their Photoshop Phridays and Comedy Goldmines, then post them to DIGG so that the ignorant hordes of DIGG users can bring up your ad revenue, all thanks to someone else's work!!

Also, why give credit to the infamous content theft site Ebaums World instead of the site these pictures obviously originated from? An affiliate maybe?

Wow, guys. I added a shout-out to the something awful site. If the watermark is still there, and you knew where it was from as a result, it's all good! I wouldn't have seen this if I hadn't found it on eBaums...

AHAHAHAHA! This is a gem. Thanks for the entertainment. I’ve been having such a horrible day, this is like the diamond in the rough. (There’s supposed to be a meeting in like an hour and a quarter of us drones are supposed to get laid off. Ugh.)

And, Giggle...don't be down. You did your part as an informed reporter...you sited both the source that you found the material and the original source of the material!!!

And this site is FAR from awful...it's easy to be a DB from behind a computer screen...
