I really had to think hard about this one. I chose the chandelier in the end. Imagine trying to bring your mother into your home and explaining the phallus (i love that word) hanging from your ceiling. At least you could say the lingerie lamp is kistchy.

The lingerie lamp (known as "Tramp Lamps") are actually really cute! I have a friend of mine who's space is done up with boas and lace and satin in red, pink and black (she's even got these fabulous lip pillows)... she got one of the TLs for her birthday, a really pretty red one. The cool thing is that they're all made from vintage pieces found at thrift stores, so each lamp is completely unique. And everyone comments on it!

So, kitschy? Yes. Tacky? The penis fixture is certainly.
