Wow! That's pretty funny. But I still really like the Harry Potter books.

Harry Potter equals Star Wars? Hell, why would the producers want to make that connection, when "The Lord of the Rings" surpassed Star Wars already? Of course, maybe Harry Potter has a shot at equalling "Lord of the Rings", considering he's coming from a major British literary source, but I doubt it. It all depends on how the last two films in the series, "The Half-Blood Prince" and "The Ghastly Hallows", depict the ultimate confrontation between Good and Evil. But I think the films, though destined to be classics, will probably hover somewhere just below Middle Earth and a galaxy far, far away. So much for aesthetics, however. On to this bit of "humor." And this thing isn't funny because it relies on broad plot generalities to draw parallels. That wouldn't earn you the funny rejection slip from MAD Magazine. Keep trying, though, and perhaps you'll earn a smile from me. But for now...
